Fact sheets are a means frequently used by the organizations to make the complex topics such as price and taxation of cigarettes more accessible and understandable to the public.

WHO FCTC (Framework Convention on
Tobacco Control)
The FCTC was approved unanimously
by the 56th World Health Assembly in
May 2003, enforce on February 27
2005, and became a major turning point
for tobacco control worldwide
Malaysia is one of the signatories of
FCTC

Conclusion
A comprehensive approach to Tobacco
Endgame—one that optimizes synergy
from applying a mix of educational, clinical,
regulatory, economic, and social strategies—
and involvement of multisectoral agencies
and civil societies
is the guiding principle for eliminating the
health and economic burden of tobacco
use.
