Use of ICT in the 10 schools in the Capital City-Ma puto
Physics – Free fall Uniform rectilinear motion
Grade 8 – Student Practising
Grade 10 – A teacher using virtual in Physics
Advantages:
◦ It links the theory to practice;◦ Lessons become more experimental;◦ It brings the learner much closer to the use of ICT;◦ It allows the learners to improve competences;
The necessary conditions for using virtual simulato rs:
◦ One Computer (Laptop ou Desktop);◦ Data show;◦ Software (simulador) some of them for free;◦ A Classroom.
 We would strongly suggest that countries economically weak like Mozambique should adopt simulators as an alternative to conventional laboratories. They seem to be affordable.
 The introduction of simulators should be a gradual and sustainable process, always looking at the socio-economic level of the country in each phase of its development.
 The introduction of the virtual simulators should be defined and decided at curriculum design central level if it is to be implemented in the whole country. That will allow a coordinated and sustainable implementation.
 The teacher training institutions should adjust their current curriculum to match with the innovation of virtual simulation in the classroomteaching. Otherwise the innovation is likely to fail.
