INTRODUCTION•Waterscape can be defined as spaces where water is a major element.

•The built environment can also be greatly enhanced through use of waterscapes.

•Where ever waterscape is present affects the surroundings.

HISTORY•Over the centuries fountain and cascades have been used as a recreational and artistic features.

•The muslims also developed a strong artistic sense for water gardens and shows good results.

•Some design similitude between the mughal and french gardens ,by showing their similarity of garden architecture between the completed taj mahal in 1654.Like the persian style the designers at the taj attemped to the perfection of heaven into terrestrial terms by certain formulas.
