Importance of Power SupplyThe power supply assumes a very role within a typical system. In many respect, it isa mother of system. It gives the system life by providing consistent and repeatable
power to its circuit. It protects the system against the harsh world outside theconfines of enclosure and protects its ward by not letting them do harm to
themselves. If the supply experience a fails itself, then it must fail gracefully notallow the failure to reach the system

Importance Of Color coding
Though the industry is now equipped with modern measuring
devices but still color coding has it own value
• The colored bands on a resistor tell you how much resistance is given by the
component. The quality or accuracy is given by a silver of gold band at the end.If you fit a resistor of the wrong type into a circuit it may burn out the resistor or
it may stop the circuit from working.
• They are used all the time in bread board and discretely built circuitry. The color
codes are easily placed, not easily erased, and the become automatic to call out
with little practice.• NOTE: It is important that the color code must be read through the left side of
the component

Surface Mounting Technology
•Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method for constructing electronic circuits in which thecomponents are mounted directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards (PCBs). An electronicdevice so made is called a surface-mount device (SMD). In the industry it has largely replaced thethrough-hole technology construction method of fitting components with wire leads into holes inthe circuit board. Both technologies can be used on the same board for components not suited tosurface mounting such as transformers and heat-sinked power semiconductors.
• Surface-mount technology was developed in the 1960s and became widely used in the
late 1980s.• Much of the pioneering work in this technology was by IBM. The design approach first
demonstrated by IBM in 1960 in a small-scale computer was later applied in the LaunchVehicle Digital Computer used in the Instrument Unit that guided all Saturn IB andSaturn V vehicles.[2] Components were mechanically redesigned to have small metal tabsor end caps that could be directly soldered to the surface of the PCB. Components
became much smaller and component placement on both sides of a board became far
more common with surface mounting than through-hole mounting, allowing muchhigher circuit densities. Often only the solder joints hold the parts to the board, although
parts on the bottom or "second" side of the board may be secured with a dot of adhesiveto keep components from dropping off inside reflow ovens if the part has a large size or weight.[citation needed ] Adhesive is also used to hold SMT components on the bottom side of a board if a wave soldering process is used to solder both SMT and through-holecomponents simultaneously.

Industrial Visits
• During my Training I had visited two manufacturing plants situated in
Noida.
• First plant manufactures LED lightning Systems
• Second Plant is of PCB manufacturing.
• I had learnt about the current Technology being Used in electronics
manufacturing. What happens practically in industry, what are the
problems are faced by manufactures.
• I had seen some machines which are being used in the industry,
assembly lines.
• In EFY expo 2013, electronics companies around the world are their
to show cast their products.
• I had attended seminars on future of electronics in India, current trend,
technology etc
• Carrer prospectives for engineering students in electronics.

The Project I will Work upon
My project will be LED lightning with security systems.
• As everyone knows that the current electronics industry is
diverted through the LED’s technology because of its so many
features and its energy efficiency
• In today’s time security is a major concern for everyone
whether it is home, Industry or any other place and LED’s are
the emerging field so this combination is of much beneficial.
