    WHAT ARE ILLUSIONS? Illusion trick us into perceiving something

    differently than it actually exists, so what we see

    does not correspond to physical reality. Hence theword illusion comes from the Latin verb illuderemeaning to mock". In addition some illusion showus one thing in a picture, while someone else seessomething entirely different in the same picture.

    Research scientist must be sure that

    the results of their work are notillusory in nature. They need toaccurately report what is" ratherthan their general impression of

    what is. So many times scientist willrepeat an experiment many times, orin different laboratories, to ensurethat their results are valid.

    In blackyou can read the word GOOD; but the EVILalso appears in the white letters inside each black letter.

    You may see it at first, but the white spaces creates the

    word OPTICAL while the blue landscape spells outILLUSION.

    THE MAN IN COFFEE BEANThe illusion is that this is just a picture of coffee

    beans; but it is not. Can you find mans face among thebeans? Some says if you find the man face in 3 seconds

    or less, the right half of your brain may be moredeveloped than most.

    Your eyes are making them move. To test this, stare at one spot in each picture

    for a few seconds and everything will stop moving; OR look at the black centre ofeach circle in the first picture, and it will stop moving; but when you move your eyesTo the next black centre, the previous one will move after you take your eyes awayfrom it.

    Conclusion:-

    The term illusion refers to a specific form ofsensory distortion. Unlike a hallucination,which is a distortion in the absence of astimulus. An illusion describes a

    misinterpretation of a true sensation. Forexample:-hearing voices regardless of theenvironment would be a hallucination,whereas hearing voices in the sound of arunning water would be an illusion.

    Difference between

    Illusion and Hallucination Hallucination means thinking

    about the objects which has noreal existence.

    Hallucination is not a real.

    Man who has psychologicalproblem can face hallucination.

    Thinking about a ghost is

    hallucination.

    Illusion means getting wrongperception about a objectwhich has a real existence.

    Illusion is real but which isrelated to mind problem. Illusion just create from odd

    environment.

    Thinking a rope as snake in a

    dark night is called illusion.
