    About Bhubaneswar City

    The modern city of Bhubaneswar was designed

    by the German architect Otto Konigsberger in

    1946.

    Bhubaneswar replaced Cuttack as the political

    capital of the state of Orissa in 1948.

    Population of 837,737 (2011 census)

    Area of 419 square kilometers

    and other organizations towards the development

    of the city.

    Hypotheses

    H1. The size of population of Bhubaneswar city

    has no correlation with the quantum of economicbenefits called economies generated by BMC,BDA and governmental agencies.

    H2. The Govt. policies on the socio-economic life

    of people have positive effect on its denizen.

    H3. Method or procedure followed by government

    and other civic bodies have positive effect on itspeople.

    H4. The available infrastructure facilities are

    sufficient to reduce poverty of its people.

    The given null hypotheses have been rejected as thecalculated t- value in each region (sample area) isgreater than tabulated t- value. Hence the conclusionis drawn that the economic benefits are became

    diseconomies in the city because of lack of theapplication of innovative technologies.

    The govt policies on the socio economic life ofpeople does not have positive effect on its denizenbecause of growing population and litigation .
