after by exclusive officers from NABARD RO at Patna

9.2.13 chaired by Deputy C.M.• Agriculture projections for credit to agriculture 30286 Cr. of
which 21364 Cr. for crop loan• Projections of NABARD have been accepted both at the State
level and at the district level as Annual Credit Plan for 2013-14

• 15046 JLGs sanctioned and Rs. 142 Cr. disbursed
• For 13-14 JLG target fixed at 60,000
• 30297 SHGs provided Rs.198 Cr. loan
• Target for 2013-14 fixed at 1,10,000
• 8.6 lakhs new KCCs and 13.7 lakhs KCC renewed
• Credit disbursed is Rs.14477 Cr.

NABARD Specific Initiatives
NABARD provided Rs.1077 Cr. concessional refinance on
Short-term Credit to RRBs/Co-ops during 2012-13 to ensure
low interest rate to farmers.
NABARD provided 460 Crores at concessional rate
Rs.2000/- provided as incentive to JLPIs (Joint Liability
Promoting Institutions) for promotion of each JLG
NABARD sanctioned incentive to JLPIs for promoting 22340
JLGs during the year

• NABARD sanctioned grant support for promoting 36000 (including 16000 for LWE/ Backward districts) no. of SHGs during the year
• For LWE districts, support provided to ‘JEEVIKA’

taking the total to 5794
• Introduction of CBS in Co-op(95% branches on CBS)
