Take a proactive approach to rehabilitation of unfit houses and those indisrepair using a mixture of group repair, renovation grants and loanswherever possible under the new Regulatory Reform Order 2002.

Option D

As above but undertake more detailed programme of environmentalimprovements such as alleyway treatment, lighting schemes andcompulsory acquisition of vacant buildings. This to be undertaken in aneffort to reduce actual crime and the fear of crime in the community.
