Family Day Special Collection: I hope that you are doing great in this difficult time. I wrote you once, trying to strengthening your faith, and letting you know about our financial situation. (Financial

stability is something that is essential to maintain and keep our Parish open and to continue providing services to our community) I have to let you know that both, our Parish and Fi-nance Councils, agree to cancel the Family Day Fundraiser this year only. As you are aware, this fundraiser is the main Parish Activity which sup-

ports our budget all fiscal year. Then, without this activity we have to reduced our budget. However, this action is not enough without any extra help. Because of this situation, as your Pastor, once again I appeal to your generosity. First of all inviting everyone who is ready to help Family Day by giving a donation; do it in a monetary way, anything will help us a lot. Secondly, we will provide you with an envelope similar to the Idaho Catholic Appeal. It would only be to support our Parish this year due to the cancellation of the Family Day Fund-raiser. Thanks again, and I hope that through our active faith and support we will continue serving you, and building God’s Kingdom in our communities.

Baptismal Classes: It is required to call the office to confirm your attendance to any of these classes. Any donation or contri-bution for the baptism services must be turned in to the office one week prior to the date of the baptism.

American Falls: August 05, 2020 at 7pm at the Office Aberdeen: August 06, 2020 at 7pm at the Rectory BE AWARE: Mr. Avelino Orozco Rodríguez, who has served as parochial vicar in the churches of San Pio V, San Bonifacio, La Purísima and San Eduardo / San Felipe de Jesús, has been released from the priestly obligations of Pope Francis. With his new lay status, he cannot celebrate Holy Mass or any other sacrament if not in danger of death. Par-ticipation in the ministry of exorcism or healing is prohib-ited. The faithful should avoid participating in every spiri-tual activity in which Avelino Orozco is present. Those in need of prayer, healing, or exorcism should contact their pastor or assistant pastor.

We have been blessed to participate in the faith formation of hundreds of children and their fami-lies. We have been equally blessed by the support of our priests, parents, staff and the many of cate-chists and volunteers who step forward each year.

Presentation of the Lord offers religious education for children 4 years old through high school, Registrations will begin on July 1st . There is a $30 early Registration Fee per child or $60 family cap, regis-tration after August 31 will be $40 for child or $80 for family, If you have any questions about registration or about Presentation of the Lord R.E. program, please contact us by phone at 208-226-5217 or by email [email protected] Registration Forms will be available at the back of the church, also at the office on Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. and Tuesdays from 2pm to 6pm at the rectory. Requirements: • First Communion: Children must be 7 years old or be in 2nd grade

of primary school. • Confirmation: Young people must be 14 years old or be in the 9th

grade of high school. • Certificate of Baptism at the time of registration. Please do not let finances stand in the way of giving your children a religious education! We do not want a single child to miss out on Reli-gious Education because of finances! To request tuition assistance, please call the parish office. All requests for financial assistance are kept confidential. You must be a registered parishioner of Presentation of the Lord parish to request tuition assistance.

Las inscripciones comenzaran el 1ro de Julio Hay una cuota de inscripción temprana de $ 30 por niño o límite fa-miliar de $ 60, la inscripción después del 31 de agosto será de $ 40 por niño o $ 80 por familia, la tarifa total para una familia con más de tres niños inscritos en Educación Religiosa no excederá los $ 80. Colecta Especial por el Día de la Familia: Espero que estés bien en este momento difícil. Les escribí una vez, tratando de fortalecer tu fe y haciéndote saber sobre nuestra situación financiera. (La estabilidad financiera es algo esencial para mantener y conservar nuestra parroquia abierta y continuar brindando servicios a nuestra comunidad) Tengo que hacerle saber que ambos, nuestros consejos parroquiales y financieros, aceptan cancelar la recaudación de fondos del Día de la Familia solo este año. Como saben, esta recaudación de fondos es la principal actividad parroquial que respalda nuestro presupuesto duran-te todo el año fiscal. Luego, sin esta actividad, tenemos que reducir nuestro presupuesto. Sin embargo, esta acción no es suficiente sin ninguna ayuda adicional. Debido a esta situación, como su Pastor, una vez más apelo a su ge-nerosidad. En primer lugar, invitar a todos los que estén listos para ayudar al Día de la Familia haciendo una donación; hacerlo de manera monetaria, cualquier cantidad nos ayudará mucho. En segundo lugar, le proporcionaremos un sobre similar al de la Campaña Católica de Idaho. Esto será para apoyar a nuestra parroquia solo por este año debido a la cancelación de la recaudación de fondos del Día de la Fa-milia. TENGAN CUIDADO: El señor Avelino Orozco Rodríguez, que ha servido como vicario parroquial en las iglesias de San Pio V, San Bonifacio, La Purísima y San Eduardo/San Felipe de Jesús, ha sido dispensado de las obligaciones sacerdotales por el Papa Francisco. Con su nuevo estatus de laico, él no puede celebrar la Santa Misa ni ningún otro sacramento solo en el peligro de muerte. Es prohibido participar en el ministe-rio de exorcismo o sanación.
