• Spare parts: We offer our customers genuine parts from the Factory to warranty our work in expertise.

• Overhaul Engines: We offer our customers major overhauls on site or out, depending on the condition

of the engines. From single components to complete engines and systems. MPDS offers overhauling

goods to help customers manage their businesses. MPDS overhauls engines and products are fully

disassembled, cleaned, inspected and reassembled with all replaced wear parts, and replaced for new

parts to the components that are worn, damaged or have failed. MPDS overhauling products aren’t just

“as good as new” they are better than the products they replace because they incorporate the latest

updates in materials and design. With MPDS overhauling products, customers will continue to enjoy

robust reliable performance for their engines.

• Maintenance: We offer our customers annual service inspection on any vessels, Yachts, Mega Yachts,

or Commercial vessels to prevent for future major repairs. *Also we offer maintenance contracts all

year around.

• Repairs: We offer our customers technical of failure analysis at any time. *Also propulsion

commissioning and inspection surveys.

• Warranty: We offer our customers the propulsion cover for all work we are responsible for under the

rules of the contract.

• Remote Assistance: We offer our customers assistance at any location that is under contract or

warranty by M.P.D.S at 24 hours 7 days a week.

• World Class services support : After sales support is offered for those units that are already out of the

Factory warranty.

Marine Propulsion Diesel Engine Services

Friedrichshafen, 27 August 2012. Tognum, the specialist for propulsion and power solutions, is to develop its MTU Series 2000 yacht engines for compliance with US EPA Tier 3 Recreational and IMO Tier III emissions regulations. The new Series 2000 M96 engines will be able to cover outputs up to 2,600 bhp (1,940 kW), at the same time complying with IMO Tier II and EPA Tier 3 regulations using in-engine technology only. Compliance with IMO Tier III will be possible with SCR exhaust gas after treatment. Despite the lower exhaust emissions, a reduction in fuel consumption will still be achieved. Acceleration characteristics will also be enhanced, even though these are already optimized on the current engines. The new engines for pleasure craft compliant with EPA Tier 3 Recreational will be available from 2014. Launch of the IMO Tier III-compliant units will take place at the start of 2016.
