Also he leads the Trademarks Department, heading the fields of Internet Domains and Trademarks, both in Chile and abroad. He was Director and former ACHIPI president (Chilean Group of AIPPI). Eduardo Molina Civil Constructor from Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile. Currently as a partner of Patents Department at Villaseca Abogados. He specializes in the intellectual development, strategy, creation, prosecute and registration of Invention patents, Utility models, Industrial designs and other forms of Technology protection. He is currently director and member of the Chilean Association of Intellectual Property (ACHIPI), Chilean Group of the AIPPI. In addition, he is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI), the Interamerican Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), the International Federation of Counselors of Intellectual Property (FICPI), the National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP), Intellectual Property Owners (IPO), and International Trademark Association (INTA).

Felipe Pavez Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, specialist in industrial and intellectual property, criminal law and litigation. He heads the Law Enforcement and Litigation Area of the Villaseca Abogados. He has a diploma in Criminal Procedure Reform, Universidad de Chile (2005) and another in Free Competition, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2014). He participates on the International Anti Counterfeiting Coalition and he is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of Amcham. Loreto Vera Chemical Civil Engineer from Universidad de Chile and a specialist in Industrial property and plant Variety. She leads the Innovation and Plant Variety Protection Department at Villaseca Abogados. She has a broad experience in Industrial property related to technology transfer and protection strategies for patents and plant varieties, representing clients from different fields. Her advice focuses on obtaining effective protection in areas of biology, chemistry and human or animal health, focusing on the development of portfolio strategies, management and processing. In addition, she participates as an exhibitor in intellectual property meetings at various universities. Álvaro Arévalo Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, Master in Law and New Technologies from the same university, and Master in Business Law, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Bernardo Serrano Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile and General Counsel of Villaseca Abogados. He has an extensive experience in industrial and intellectual property, especially in Consulting, Contracts and Litigation. He is member of the Lawyer School of Chile (A.G.), Chilean Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (ACHIPI), Interamerican Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), International Trademark Association (INTA), Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle (AIPPI), and Federation International des Conseils in Propriété Industrielle (FICPI), in which he is member of the Executive Committee of the Association on behalf of Chile.

Oscar Isler Mechanical Civil Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, specialized in patents of invention in the metal-mechanical, transportation and construction engineering sectors, as well as the protection of utility models and industrial designs. Before joining the firm, he worked at Papeles Cordillera (CMPC Group), then at Mas Errázuriz Construcciones, and finally at CTI (AB Electrolux Group). Vicente Catalán

Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, where he received the maximum distinction, and LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Competition Law, Munich Intellectual Property Law Center and at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, having subsequently completed an internship at the BomhardIP Firm in Alicante, Spain. He specializes in industrial and intellectual property, innovation, technology transfer, biotechnology and enforcement of rights and unfair competition. He is a member of the Chilean Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (ACHIPI), Chilean Group of AIPPI- Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle. He is part of the Innovation and Trademarks Areas at Villaseca Abogados.

Biologist with mention in bioprocess from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and Master in Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne (Chile scholarship program). During his stay in Melbourne, he participated in an internship at CSL, one of the main biotech companies in Australia. He is part of the Patent Area at Villaseca Abogados.

Carol Schmeisser

Carolina Muñoz Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile. She has a diploma in Law and Real Estate (2014) and another in Intellectual Property (2015), both from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Before joining Villaseca Abogados, she headed the Legal and Intellectual Property Unit of the Innovation Department of the Vice-Rector for Research and Development of the Universidad de Chile, where she worked as a lawyer. She also has extensive experience as an external lawyer for companies such as Entel, Inmobiliaria Calicanto and Constructora Marabierto. She is part of the Innovation and Plant Variety Protection Department at Villaseca Abogados, with focus on technology transfer contracts, as well as on corporate and contractual issues in general.

Lawyer from the University of Chile. Before joining Villaseca Abogados, she worked as an associate in the competition law area of the firm Cariola Diez Pérez-Cotapos, as a research assistant for the international magazine ArbJournal, and as an attorney for the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE). In addition, she has had academic experience as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello (UNAB) and Universidad de Chile. She is part of the Trademark, Patent and Competition Law Areas at Villaseca Abogados.

Carlos Silva Alliende Attorney at law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Law at Georgetown University Law Center. Besides Carlos Silva has studies on Economics and Finance from Universidad de Chile and Economic Regulation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. External Consultant of Corporate Area of Villaseca Abogados on Economic Regulation, Antitrust Law and Environment Law.
