The Port of Altamira is strategically located in the south part of
the State of Tamaulipas. It has of extension.1,361.73 km²
Is part of the so called Metropolitan Zone, joint with the
municipalities of Tampico and Madero.

SEAL OF GUARANTEE
• Integral system of quality that assure the fulfillment of standards in port
services, involving all actors in the port-logistics chain.
• The Seal of Guarantee affiliates a prestigious group of companies,
public and private organizations that are a synonym of quality and
excellence.
• To ensure the impartiality of the Seal of Quality, the system is governed by an
independent autonomous organization.
• The Ship Docking Guarantee: Ensure that the vessel will start operation 2:30 hours after its
arrival to the buoy, as long as there are not unforeseen situations
• Container Flow Guarantee: the multipurpose terminals (containers) of the Port, guarantee
under certain conditions, the loading and offloading at a minimum rate of 45 TEU´s per
hour.
• Steel products download Guarantee: Under certain conditions, vessel offloading
maneuvers, truck and gondola loading maneuvers are guaranteed.
