She has spent the last 17 years examining every detail of her family life, trying to understand the crucial intersection between mental health issues and violence. She has become a passionate agent working to advance mental health awareness and intervention. She is the author of A Mother’s Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy.
