Preschool Garden

The beginning…

As the weather warmed, the garden on the

Preschool yard was ready for planting.

The teachers visited the play yard, raking out

the straw and turning over the soil

to wake up the gardens.

Then, we checked on the compost and added some into the garden beds,

mixing it in with the soil.

Planting Kale

Next, we

planted a full

bed of kale

seeds in the

hopes of lots

of kale chips!

Peas & Beans!

In another bed, we planted peas and beans! Above the stick are the

peas and below are beans!

Next, we will build a pea-teepee!

Then we gave the seeds a

good drink of water and now we wait to see them pop up

out of the ground!
