Our Programs

At Saint Mary Preschool, our goal is to provide a creative learning

environment that centers on our Catholic love and respect for one another. Our program focuses on

developing learning experiences and play activities that encourage social,

spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development

of each child.

St Mary Preschool promotes the development of working together and sharing by using individual responsibility through free play;

music; art; stories; crafts; dramatic play; and age-appropriate cognitive, fine motor and gross motor skills.

Our curriculum was developed using the “hands-on” approach to learning through specific learning centers.

Multi-sensory activities that enhance the total development of

the child are planned in a sequential manner that follows a theme or is part of a unit. The daily schedule includes both quiet and active play, as well as individual, small group

and large group activities.

Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.
