What is the SAT and ACT? The SAT tests student’s basic knowledge in reading, writing, and math. The ACT test is a national college admissions exam that

consists of English, mathematics, reading and science subject areas.

BOTH are universally accepted for college admission.

Why take the SAT or ACT? Most four year colleges require an admissions test like the

SAT. Used with GPAs and high school transcripts, SAT scores allow

colleges to fairly compare applicants. The ACT helps in making yourself visible to colleges and

scholarship agencies The ACT test does not penalize wrong answers and Writing

section is optional.
