• Concept: The parts of the eye are the –
cornea, pupil, iris, lens, retina, and optic
nerve.
• Value Focus: Maintaining good eyesight.

A. Preliminary Activities
1. Let the pupils close their eyes. Can
you see things in the classroom? What
do you need in order to see?
2. Close your one eye. Can you see
well? Look at a book. Can you read well?
Do you need 1 or 2 eyes?

Describe the eyeball.• b. Ask them to face their classmates and
observe their eyes.• c. Show picture of the eye and read the
parts.
