The Świętokrzyskie Voivodship is in the south-west part of Poland and includes 11.672 km2 (which is 3,7% of Poland).

Population is 1.228 (which is 3,4% of the whole population)

It is divided into 102 communes and 14 provinces.

The Świętokrzyskie Mountains are the most characteristic feature of the whole Świętokrzykie Voivodship.

Temperature varies from 28-33C in summers and even -25C in winters.

Świętokrzyskie is famous for its clean water and air, green landscapes. Here lies the range of the oldest mountains in Euroope, with its „bare” peaks called Łysa Góra and Łysica. There is the Świętokrzyki National Park and a number of landscape parks.

It is one of the most beautiful caves in Poland. It has 240m. of corridors full

stalagmites and stalactites.

It is a historic city, crossed with the longest Polish river – Vistula.While sightseeing the city one can easily go back even to the XIV century, as it is the origin date of the Kazimierzowki Castle and the Opatowska Gate.

It is a small town where you can see the castle ruins.

The small town is known for the Museum of Clocks – the seconed largest one in Europe- and the Cysters Monastery – the first one in Poland.

Kielce is the capital city of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. Picturesque views, mountain ranges, nature and geological reserves make the city a unique one.

The village is famous for the „Skansen” – the museum under the sky with old wooden houses, a church,

a windmill, a manor etc.
