Introduction
• Myanmar has conducted MICS Survey 5 times – 1995, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2009 with the assistance of UNICEF.
Objectives: • To provide up-to-date information in the
situation of children and women;• to access health; nutrition; education,
maternal care of women, water and sanitation and child well-being
• to measure the country’s progress towards the MDGs goals
Impact- Improvement the standard living - Improved health and education - Survey Assumptions of childen and women indicators by the rural communities - Government policies
in the area of survey influence
- Targets would be an above the Risk national average increase, - Local government particularly amongst the most does not maintain disadvantaged groups levels of expenditure
