COMMUNICATIONS PLAN:•With whom•Monitor Frequencies/channels•Timing of check-ins and time considered overdue•Contact information of responsible person ashore who holds the float/voyage plan

The captain being wrong is a real possibility and an occasional certainty. All hands are reminded to speak up, ask questions, and voice concerns.
