September 29, 1997 INTRODUCTIONThis report describes the activities during a four day reconnaissance exploration field program on claims SS 1174451, SS 1174452 in Rabazo Township, south of Wawa, Ontario. The purpose of the program was to carry out reconnaissance geological mapping, prospecting and sampling on the claims for Knomex Resources, Inc. The author and a field assistant traversed the claims and sampled where possible. The target was to locate exposed bedrock outcrop occurrences and assess the potential for mineralization in an extension of a northwest trending auriferous zone located near the Scott Falls Dam,
LOCATION, ACCESS AND CLAIM INFORMATIONThe two claims in this report are SS 1174451, SS 1174452 are located in RabazoTownship, NTS 41 N/l 5, Sheet 20 16 6600 53000. They are accessed by driving south for5 kilometers along Highway 17 from the junction of Highway 101 and traveling east forapproximately 7 kilometers along the High Falls Dam road. This road is open year roundand is well maintained. A WNW running power line intercepts the road and provides easyaccess to the northern boundary of the claims. The claims are owned by Knomex Resources Inc., formerly known as Monk Gold andResources Limited. Their offices are located at:Suite 1301, 22 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5J 1C4; td: 416.365.0383fax: 416.365.9217 ^ '-y ^ O
GENERAL GEOLOGYThe claims are located in the Archean Wawa Greenstone Belt of the Superior Province. The bedrock consists of felsic to mafic metavolcanics and metasediments. Low grade regional metamorphism is predominant throughout the area. A northwest trending belt of metasedimets hosts an auriferous stockwork of veins. Mafic flows, felsic to intermediate pyroclastics and thin beds of cherty sediments are indicative of the belt. The belt is contained within mafic volcanics to the northeast and southwest.(see Figure 1)

FIELD PROGRAMA pace and compass reconnaissance ground survey was undertaken to explore the two claims and determine if further study was warranted. The two continuous claims were staked to follow a northwest trending zone of mineralization that initiates at the Scott Falls dam location.
FIELD RESULTSThe traverse over the western claim #1174452 revealed no outcrop exposures. The claim consisted of dense forest cover. Further investigation is warranted and perhaps some trenching work. Overgrown logging trails are present throughout the claim and would provide easy access. The traverse on claim # 1174451 revealed outcrop exposures in the ravine. The small creek running through the claim lies on bedrock and exposes outcrop along the south wall of the ravine. South of the last bedrock exposure, once out of the ravine, the ground is covered by sand and gravel deposits with intermittent large rounded boulders. The area has been logged some time ago and thick shrubs and alders have overgrown the cut-out areas.( see Figure 2)
SAMPLE RESULTSThe following chart lists the field results from the traverses. Assays are pending but will not be available for this report.

A general trend of increasing metamorphism to the southeast was found to be present in the exposed bedrock outcrops. This could indicate proximity to or continuation of the auriferous stockwork zones near the Scott Falls Dam.
SUMMARYThe outcrop exposed on the claims indicates a continuation of the northwest trending zone of metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks. Pending assay results, further speculation on the potential mineralization is not warranted at this time.
