Water has been traditionally used as the primary ingredient in formulations as a base. Eliminating water allows formulators to use different bases, such as powders or oils derived from plants, and develop concentrated and sustainable products. Waterless products and ingredients are often dramatically higher in potency and are more powerful in terms of effectiveness compared to products containing high amounts of water.
