F2 visa holders cannot work or attend formal full-time academic programs at a college or university. It is recommended that all dependents have health insurance. FINANCIAL VERIFICATION All F1 visa students must show proof of sufficient funds to pay for all estimated academic, living, and personal expenses for a year of studies. The school does not have financial aid for students, and students are not allowed to work. Financial support can be any combination of personal or sponsored funding. The letter from the bank or financial institution must be current (issued no more than 12 months prior to the start of the application term), on bank letterhead, signed and dated by a bank official, and show proof of personal or sponsor funds. Copies are acceptable.

o Health Insurance. F1 students must have health insurance, medical evacuation, and repatriationcoverage while studying at SF State College of Extended Learning. Student must purchase the SFState-approved health insurance plan.
