2. Name/s of the approving authority sanctioning such foreign and Indian tours as in query (I) above

3. Were study or tour reports submitted after such trips as in query (I) above?

4. If not, please specify where no study or tour report was submitted

5. Was any action taken on study-reports submitted after tours of study-groups as in query ( I ) above?

But the CPIO has not yet furnished any response to the petition till date. I prefer now an appeal under section 19( I) of

RTI Act rather than approaching Central Information Commission directly under section 18 of RTI Act because

I vide my RTI petition dated 29.04.2010 sought complete and detailed information together with relevant

correspondencc/documents/1ile-notings etc on under-mentioned aspects:

1. Complete and detailed information about tours at expense of Union government to foreign countries and also

in India mentioning also expenses, purpose, class of travel, names of touring persons. destination/s etc from


Chairpersons of two Houses, Deputy Chairpersons, Prime Minister, Ministers, Parliamentarians and others


3. Were study or tour reports submitted after such trips as in query (I) above?

4. If not, please specify where no study or tour report was submitted

5. Was any action taken on study-reports submitted after tours of study-groups as in query (1) above?

6. If yes. please specify

7. List of improvements made/money saved as result of such study-trips


9. If not. steps taken to make such information public

But the CPIO has not yet furnished any response to the petition till date. I prefer now an appeal under section J9( I) ot'

R'!l Act rather than approaching Central Information Commission directly under section 18 of RTI Act because

otherwise track-record of President's Secretariat in responding to RTI petitions is by and large quite appreciable as

compared to most public-authorities.
