PRE-CONFERENCE FOCUS DAYTUESDAY 28TH MAY 2019EXPLOITING AI & ML TO ENHANCE THE OODA LOOPLand forces will need to exploit AI, big data analysis, and machine-learning to penetrate the adversary’s OODA loop and prevail in multi-domain operations and lower-intensity conflict. AI-enabled technologies will be incremental in an era of digital transformation; those who will be first to adopt them, will secure the competitive advantage for their land forces.
The AI & ML Conference Focus Day will examine the changing veracity, velocity, and volume of data - identifying technologies to accelerate complex decision-making for the future force. It will assess the role of machine learning systems in processing diverse information at a greater accuracy and speed.

“Great opportunity to get out of your ‘circle of knowns.’ You hear the same things and do the same things if you don’t make a dedicated effort to mix with different views and experiences. Innovation and exaptation occur via serendipity and can only be achieved by mixing in the right environment; you can’t force it.”
