Pre Commissioning Check for Dense Phase Dust Conveying
system
1. Phase out the electrical connection between Relay Based
Control Panel, Junction Box(as applicable) and Pneumatic Panel.
This will ensure the proper seuential
!unctionin" o! the system.
#. Chec$ the Control Panel whether the seuential operations are
bein" displayed andchec$ that the seuence is in line with the
Control write up.
%. &ll Timer 'ettin"s should be done as per the recommended
timer settin" chart.
. Chec$ the pressure switches !or proper operation and its
settin" as per the
recommendations.
. Chec$ whether the le*el probe is mounted as per the drawin" to
maintain minimum
one *essel *olume o! material o*er the dome *al*e and ensure the
proper !unctionin".
+. Chec$ lea$a"e in the airwaterash con*eyin" pipe line with the
soap solution test
-. Chec$ the oil le*el in lubricator. Chec$ oil re"ulator
settin"s and ensure one drop o!
oil per cycle by settin" the adustin" screw.
/. Chec$ the operation o! the euipments !or proper !unctionin"
o! all the components
li$e 0ome al*e, blow *al*e, solenoid *al*e, limit switches etc.
on all mode o!
selections i.e. Timerle*el probe mode.
2. Chec$ the hoppersur"e chute to ensure no !orei"n material is
inside the hopper,
be!ore openin" the isolation plate *al*e to put the system on
load.
13. while openin" the plate *al*e , ensure that it is !ully
opened ( 4ote 5 The plate *al*e
should always be !ully opened or !ully closed)
11. Be!ore char"in" air recei*er, ensure that no !orei"n
material is inside. Chec$ byopenin" the manhole.
1#. Chec$ the proper !unctionin" o! sa!ety *al*e at air recei*er
and chec$ the operation o!
drain trap.
1%. Chec$ all the pneumatic pipin"s are as per the P 6 7 dia"ram
and ensure that no air
lea$a"e throu"h !ittin"s tubin"s etc. Chec$ the ori!ice as per
the recommended P 6 7
dia"ram.
1. Chec$ alarm system by ammin" 8 94 : 9;;< the ash chute
probes in the !ull
Position. &larm should !unction a!ter set time, dependin" on
alarm timer settin".
1. =nsure recommended 7nstrument and Con*eyin" &ir pressures
are a*ailable be!ore
puttin" the system on load.
1+. 7! !luidi>in" pads are pro*ided on the sur"e hoppers,
chec$ the !unctionin" o! the
same.
