It is mentioned that standard span for viaduct shall be in the range of 25 to 34m. However, in tender drawings, standard spans drawings for 19m to 37m have been provided. Please confirm that standard spans in the range of 19m to 37m can be adopted for this project.

As per the cl. 2.1.2.(ii), Construction of super structure of standard span

shall be as per tender drawing. However cl. 2.1.2 (iv) the tenderers may

suggest their own concept and design for Box / I girder for the same

requirements. This is contradicting to the cl.2.1.2.(ii). Hence bidder

requests to clarify

a) Whether superstructure of standard span can be designed and if so

twin „U‟ girder can be adopted.

cl.1.0 states the proposed corridor is for standard guage (SG). However as

per cl.2.8, train live load is shown for standard gauge as well as for Broad

gauge line.

Bidder understands for the proposed corridor (CC-94) only Standard gauge

loading is only applicable and hence for the design of superstructure and

substructure only standard gauge loading is to be considered and broad

gauge loading is not applicable for CC94 corridor. Pl. confirm bidder

understanding.

As per cl.2.5.1.3 horizontal design seismic acceleration co-efficient „alpha-h‟ / R shall not be less than „0.1‟.
