Read the following jokes. Once ready, let’s underline the relative clauses. Are they defining or non-defining? Next, circle the relative pronouns and check if they can be omitted. 1) A: I know a man who married his sister.

B: But that’s against the law! A: Not if you’re a priest, it isn’t!

2) Little Lawrence, who was a noisy, spoiled child, was running up

and down the aisle of an airplane. One annoyed passenger stopped him and said: « Listen, kid. Why don’t you go outside and play for a while!»
