Captain a Prayer CirclePrayerline Kids Prayer Circle is a ministry platform that fits into your existing church curriculum. The goal is to assist churches as they encourage parents to mentor their children in daily prayer for people in need of the gospel. With educational resources like Prayerline for Kids, a monthly prayer guide published by Christian Aid Mission, leading Prayerline Kids Circle Time is a breeze for teachers. Mentoring youth in prayer focused on God’s agenda will have profound impact on the family and the destiny of the next generation. Each daily prayer request only requires a few moments of class time, but it will enrich lives. Captain a weekly Prayerline Kids Prayer Circle and build a foundation for a lifetime of prayer that’s mission focused. It’s that simple!

Each monthly issue features seven educational mission activities in diverse places of the world, exposing youth to different indigenous cultures. By incorporating a map, circle times are an ideal way to learn

geography and social studies in the context of caring for our Christian brothers and sisters laboring in difficult places.

It was Prayerline for Kids that initiated a home schooler field trip to Christian Aid Mission headquarters.

Christopher, an astute, friendly 11-year-old expressed, “Prayerline for Kids gets you thinking about things you wouldn’t even think of otherwise.” When asked which story touched his heart the most, he said it was the one about Angela, the little orphan girl from the Ukraine, who was his age, but only weighed 54 pounds and was a mere 3 ½ feet tall. “I’m praying that the doctors can help her to grow. If I could talk to her, I would like to tell her that she can call on Jesus for anything. She could even ask for a mom and dad.”

Father’s House staff writes,“Since Angela started medical treatments

she is becoming more confident and has hope for the future.”

Kids Desire to Make a Difference in the World

Investing energy for the advancement of the gospel and caring for the needs of others is a proven way for godly transformation in young minds. Plus, kids love it when their friends and family are in prayer for the same exact need each day of the week. It generates a contagious synergy for prayer—uniting the family and community around action to engage unreached people groups. The dynamic influence of group prayer and Spirit-led community action encourage youth to see that they can make a difference in their world. When you captain a Prayerline Kids Circle, you give a godly touch to the future of each child, your local community, our nation and the world.

BOLIVIA, South America*SUNDAY—We usually don’t give electricity a thought until we lose it during a storm. But many Quechua people living in the Andes Mountains have never had electricity. That is why Quechua Evangelistic Outreach missionaries must only hold evangelistic meetings, Bible studies and discipleship classes during the daylight hours. Solar panel equipment would make it possible for the rural churches to have lights at night. We can give a gift and turn the lights on. Gift Code: 270QEO-9K

TAJIKISTAN, Central AsiaMONDAY—Find the seven countries in Central Asia that end with the word “stan” on a map: Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. “Stan” means “land,” so “Tajikistan” simply means “land of the Tajiks.” Christians in Tajikistan have friends and relatives in Afghanistan and travel freely across the border. Pray for funds to train Christian Tajiks to be missionaries for Afghanistan. Gift Code: 467UCF-9K

RUSSIA, EurasiaTUESDAY—Young missionary teams are traveling all over Russia, placing four New Testaments in every village that has no church. Slavik, a gospel preacher, wants to purchase 100,000 New Testaments for his “One Year for Jesus” project. Excitedly he writes, “We must move quickly to guarantee the current price of 50 cents per copy.” Working together, Christians in the U.S. can have a part in reaching this goal. Gift Code: 361BIB-9K

INDIA, South Asia*WEDNESDAY—What is a mudslide? It is not a fun children’s slide, but a dangerous movement of earth down

a steep hill due to too much rain. Mudslides can bury cars, buildings and even kill people. In Northern India heavy monsoon rains caused a huge landslide. Christians found their old Jeep used for mission work buried under the debris. The insurance did not cover the repairs. Christian Aid wants to

help with these expenses. Gift Code: 660HIM-9K

CHAD, AfricaTHURSDAY—The Good Samaritan discovered a man beaten and left for dead by armed robbers. Unlike the other travelers, he stopped to help. We have a chance to be a “Good Samaritan.” Idriss, leader of Life of God Ministries, reported the death of a missionary killed by armed robbers. Join Idriss in praying for the widow and her children. Gifts sent will help buy food ($35 for a sack of bean, corn, or rice) for the family. Gift Code: 512LGM-9K

CHILE, South America*SATURDAY—Autumn is a lovely time of year when the leaves begin to change colors in North America. But in South America the spring season is starting now. Chile Evangelical Mission works for the Lord in every season. They spring into action to share the gospel through both open-air meetings and door-to-door evangelism. This includes visiting the sick and working among tribal people. CEM needs 300 Bibles ($8 each) to distribute during upcoming events. Gift Code: 275CEM-9K

PHILIPPINES, Pacific Asia*FRIDAY—Filipino missionaries with Child Evangelism go where the children are. Every year they conduct VBS, camps, and mission trips. They also show films, teach in children’s homes, evangelize at farms, playgrounds, and basketball courts. Getting around to places is hard because they have to carry all their teaching materials by way of public transportation. If they had a motorized tricycle, they could transport their teaching materials with ease. Gift Code: 801CELS-K

Prayerline Kids: Adventures in Faith

Quechua Kids have Big Dreams Too

Prayerline Kids make the world a better place! In this month’s issue of Prayerline for Kids, read how many Quechua (pronunciation: [ˈketch wa]) people living in the Andes Mountains have never had electricity. Can you tell why these Quechua Kids don’t have electricity in their houses? Yet, look at their faces. Do you think just maybe these kids might be excited about a new school year? Like you, Quechua kids have big dreams for the future. Pray that more Quechua kids, like John, will receive Christ. Also, in this school year would you like to learn about kids in different lands with your friends? Ask your parents to download information on how your church can start a Prayerline Kids Circle for free at www.prayerlinekids.com.

Ruth lives at the Quechua village of Andabamba located three hours by car and an additional hour walking from the closest town.

Emerson was surprised when he heard that a ministry on behalf of Christian Aid brought a present for him. Very moved, he opened the package and found his school supplies. He reported that this is the first time that he ever received a present.

John walks one hour from his village to arrive at our meeting hall at Culluhuancca. He was so happy to receive his school supplies. John walks one hour and a half from Monday through Friday to attend school.
