Pentecost was the feast held in Jerusalem fifty days after the Passover. We read in Acts 2 that it was the time God sent His Spirit to empower His church. Can God empower His church today? Today we’ll discuss the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.
This morning for your children: The kids will be called to the front and dismissed for their Kidz Connection after the worship singing. Offered for JK to grade 4. Nursery care is also available, ask an usher or greeter.

Reminder: On June 11 we invite you to bring your Christian material that is ready for a new home to our official “Book Sunday”.
Our next baptism is set to be scheduled soon. If you have been considering baptism please talk to Pastor Brian about doing a class with him in the near future to explore the possibility of joining this next group of candidates.
Heritage Day at Tabor is scheduled for Sat. June 24 10:00am - 1:00pm. Come and enjoy live music, a BBQ lunch, strawberries and ice cream. Lots of fun for the family! A pie bake sale is being planned. If you would like to help out by baking a pie or two it would be greatly appreciated. A sign up sheet is provided at the church office window.
The Board of Management will have a meeting this Monday, June 5, at 7:00pm.
