Praise Reports April 26 | TUNISIA Give thanks for the Tunisians who are seeking the truth of Jesus today and for those who have persevered for years with minimal fellowship and resources April 27 | ARABIAN PENINSULA Thank the Lord for new believers in the desert! Please pray that they will grow in faith. April 28 | CHINA Praise God for a new Tibetan Background Believer with a passion to share the gospel with people in his home village April 29 | GAMBIA Praise God that several church denominations are members of the Inter-Faith Group for Dialogue and Peace in Gambia. April 30 | LAOS One of the largest ethnic groups in Laos has a history of being oppressed. This, however, has made them eager to receive the healing and wholeness that Jesus Christ brings. Praise God for their willingness to accept His gospel. Pastors

April 1 | KENYA Please pray for the family of Lawrence Kazungu Kadenge, an Assistant Pastor who was killed by unknown assailants after Islamic extremists were rioting.

April 2 | UZBEKISTAN The government will not grant a pastor a visa to go to a Christian Conference outside of the country. Pray that God will change their minds.

April 3 | CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC A pastor and son were murdered during a recent violent attack. Pray for his church and their families

April 4 | KAZAKHSTAN Two charges against Pastor Bakhytzhan were declared to be unfounded. However, he is still waiting to see what the outcome of the other charges will be.

April 5 | COLOMBIA Pray for a pastor who received a threatening letter reading “You must leave the region or you’ll die.” The letter also included a picture of a coffin.

Refugees

April 6 | RUSSIA Pray for a mother of three who was kicked out of her home when her faith was discovered

April 7 | NORTH KOREA Pray for a refugee who recently stayed in a Chinese safe house and returned to North Korea to share the gospel message.

April 8 | SRI LANKA Open Doors has been able to help five pastors who have been displaced start a farm. Pray that this will help sustain their ministry.

April 9 Central | AFRICAN REPUBLIC Many displaced Christians are hungry and still experiencing violent attacks.

April 10 | CHINA Pray for a North Korean refugee who was initially resistant towards the gospel, but is showing signs of a growing interest in God.

Women

April 11 | BANGLADESH Pray for 20 women who will start a three-year discipleship course through Open Doors.

April 12 | PHILIPPINES Pray for a Muslim Background Believer who has remained faithful to attend Bible study, despite being mocked by some in her community.

April 13 | TUNISIA A 15 year old girl has been a Christian for a few years. Pray her family would accept her and come to know Christ as well.

April 14 | IRAN Pray for Kristina Irani, the wife of imprisoned pastor Behnam Irani, whose home was raided by security force members.

Churches

April 15 | IVORY COAST Open Doors is involved in various interactions and collaborative talks with Church leaders. Please pray for concrete actions in response to the specific needs of the Church.

April 16 | BHUTAN Pray for a Church leader who was summoned by village officials, as this might make it more difficult for local Christians to meet together for Sunday worship.

April 17 | MYANMAR Authorities heavily monitor churches in the country. Pray leaders will deal peacefully with those in authority.

April 18 | ARABIAN PENINSULA Pray for fellowship with believers, as it is sometimes difficult to come by.

April 19 | ISRAEL AND PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES Pray for Easter celebrations in the different churches and denominations all over the region.

April 20 | LEBANON Pray that the Church will be able to celebrate Easter this year without fear but with a joy

April 21 | IRAQ Continue praying for the leadership of the Church in Iraq as they share Christian materials with those around them.

April 22 | SYRIA The Church keeps ministering in various parts of Syria. Pray for their endurance.

April 23 | IRAN The house church movement in Iran is growing and in need of more leaders. Pray for God to bring up church leaders.

Prisoners

April 24 | CHINA Pray for Alimjan, a pastor who is in prison for his faith. He is in poor health and is only allowed a 20 minute visit from his wife each month.

April 25 | IRAN Pray for Pastor Behnam Irani, who has been imprisoned since 2011 and suffering from poor health conditions.
