The March Christian Women’s Luncheon will be March 20 at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Club New Community Room. The featured speakers are Scott & Astrid
Gottschalk who will talk about their trip to the Holy Land and their life as dairy farmers. There will also be Irish Folk Music. Please R.S.V.P. with Elaine at 333-

The Adventures in Lifelong Learning presentation for Tuesday, March 21 will be “General Themes on Revenge and Social Conflict” by Dr. Kit R. Christensen. The
presentation will ask, ’What is revenge? Is it wrong?’ Refreshments appear at 9:40
a.m., the presentation at 10:00 a.m. at Beltrami Electric Cooperative.
Thrivent Financial is having an Action Tank Event to learn about our local United Way Agencies and how you can support them. There will be light hors d’oeuvres.
The Event will be at Hampton Inn on Tuesday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. Please R.S.V.P. as soon as possible with Samantha Gunlikson at 751-6013.
REACH, a support group for family and friends of someone with mental illness will
meet Tuesday, March 21 from 7-8 pm at Hope House, 2014 7th St NE.
Riverside Lutheran Church in Wannaska, MN is partnering with the Institute of
Lutheran Theology to present Word at Work Workshop: “Martin Luther, Life and
Theology” on Saturday, March 25 from 10am to 5pm. There will be morning coffee/donuts and a provided lunch. Cost is $25/individual, $45/couple, $65/group of three or more. See the flyer on the church bulletin board for more information.
St. Philip’s Lent Fish Fry with deep fried beer battered Walleye, baked potato,
coleslaw, roll, brownie and beverage will be open Friday, March 24 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Eat in or Take Out. 702 Beltrami Ave NW.
The Minnesota Orchestra will perform at the BHS Auditorium on May 17 at 7:30
p.m. Cost is $10 for the general public, $5 for all students.
