A. Thebeneficiarytestimonyshouldcontainfollowinginformation:a) Thebeneficiaryshouldintroducehimself/herself,specifythenameoftheCity

andStatethatshebelongs.b) Thebeneficiary’s familybackground,occupationandthemonthlyincomeof the

familyshouldbecaptured.c) The Beneficiary should speak about the problems experienced in a kutcha

house.d) TheyshouldmentionabouthowtheycametoknowaboutthePMAY(U)scheme

andtheprocessadoptedtogetahouseundertheschemee) ThebeneficiaryshouldexplainabouttheLifeTransformingexperiencethathas

comeaftermovingintoapuccahouseunderPMAY(U)-i. Someofthekeyfactorswhichcanbeelaboratedbythebeneficiarymay

includeDignified living,AvailabilityofBasicAmenities (Water,electricity,Kitchen,toiletetc.)

ii. Thebeneficiarymaybeabletoexpresstheemotionshe/shehasexperiencedsuchas:IncreasedSelfEsteem,Senseofprideanddignity,ImprovedSocialStatus,SafetyandSecurity for thefamily,ProtectedEnvironment for thegirlchild,Abilitytofocusbetteronchildren’seducationespeciallythatofthegirlchild.

B. Do’sforvideotestimonials.a) Whilecapturingthevideo,thebeneficiaryshouldbealongwiththewholefamily

inasingleframeinfrontofthehouse.b) PMAY(U)logomustbeembossedandvisibleinfrontwallofthehouse.c) c) Thebeneficiarymayspeakinhis/hervernacular.d) The beneficiary should be in a presentable attire preferably in traditional

clothing.e) Thebeneficiaryshouldbecomfortableduringthevideoshootandshouldspeak

naturally.f) Thenarration/experienceofthebeneficiaryshouldbecapturedinoriginal.

g) Whilecapturingthevideoitmaybeensuredthatthesurroundingsareneatandtidytotheextentpossible.

h) TheVideofilemustbesavedinan18digitformat;BeneficiaryIDasperPMAY(U)-MISfollowedbyanunderscorefollowedbyName.Foreg.(348040362970100200_RanjanaDevi)

C. Don’tfortheBeneficiaryvideotestimonials.a) Theaudioandvideoqualityshouldbehighandshouldnothaveblureffectsor

backgroundsounds.b) Thevideoshouldberecordedprofessionallygivingacompletevisualofthe

beneficiary’shouse.Thehalfframeshouldn’tbecaptured.

A. do’s for the Photographs.a) `ThePhotographsshouldbecapturedwithaFullFrameCamera/DSLRandthe

pictureshouldbeofhighresolution(atleast300DPI/morethan5MBfilesize).b) Whilecapturingthephotowomenshouldbefocusedalongwiththewhole

familyinasingleframeinfrontofthehouse.c) PMAY(U)Logomustbeembossedandvisibleinfrontwallofthehouse.d) Thebeneficiaryshouldbeinapresentableattirepreferablyintraditional

clothing.e) Theexpressionofthebeneficiaryshouldreflecthis/heremotions,feelingof

happiness.f) Whilecapturingthephotographsitmaybeensuredthatthesurroundingsare

neatandtidytotheextentpossible.g) ThePhotomustbesavedinan18digitformat;BeneficiaryIDasperPMAY(U)-MIS

followed by an underscore followed by Name.For e.g.(348040362970100200_RanjanaDevi)

B. don’t for the photographs.a) Mobilesshouldnotbeusedtotakephotographs.b) AHalfFrameofthehouseortheBeneficiaryshouldnotbecaptured.c) PicturesshouldnotbephotographedwhenExposureofLightislow.d) Beneficiaryshouldnotbephotographedinanydiscomfort.
