Sri. Nachiketa Sharma, a resident of the San

Francisco Bay Area is a noted Hindustani

vocalist. He learnt under the tutelage of the

great master of Hindustani music Pt. Basavaraj

Rajguru. Nachiketa has performed in several

cities across India and the United States. Sri.

Sharma is also a dedicated teacher.

He runs Rajguru Sangeet Vidyaniketan school

of music imparting his knowledge of Hinduatani Classical music to ea-

ger students.

Dr. K. S Vaishali is a renowned

Hindustani musician who has

toured all over India enthralling

listeners with her music at many

music festivals. She studied the

Gwalior Gharana under the

tutelage of Pt. R.V Sheshadri

Gavai and learnt the intricacies of

Athrauli-Jaipur Gharaana from the great classical vocalist,

Smt. Kishori Amonkar.

Dr. K.S Vaishali holds a Sangeeta Vishaarada degree in music. She

has a Ph. D in English literature and is currently a Reader at the

department of English Studies in Bangalore University. She has

given several programs on all India Radio. She is also a well known

music critic writing regularly for The Hindu, The Deccan Herald and

The Times of India newspapers. She has conducted may music

workshops and lecture demonstrations.
