Using the Advanced Search Tools:

you can find people in your extended network who are potential candidates for your search,

or who know someone who is.

Since you can see the names and bios of peopleyour extended network, you can very easily call

them up and just recruit them.

For example,

I have 1,200 people in my direct network.

On average each of these people has 200 people in their own network.

This allows me access to over 240,000 people by one degree of separation!

I can also see their contacts as well, which gives me visibility to approximately 5 million people.

If your recruiting budget is bigger, it might be worth it to upgrade your profile.

SECOND WAY

Page 5: Ppt of linkedin process

Account upgrades give you the power to send a certain number of direct messages to people with whom you are not connected, allowing you more freedom to contact potential new hires.

Page 6: Ppt of linkedin process

The Business Plus plan allows you to send 10 direct messages without a connection each month, for $49.95/month. The Pro plan bumps that up to 50 InMail messages, but at a heftier price: $499.95/month.

Click the link that says Send InMail.

For example,

Suppose that you want to connect with Reid Hoffman, Founder of Lindekin.

When you look at his profile, you see the Send InMail link, which means he is open to

receiving InMail.

You would click the Send InMail link to send him a message.

Now you can start filling out the Compose Your Message form.

How to Find the Right People For a Job With Linkedin

Let’s assume you’re looking for a PHP developer .

Here’s how you can use linkedin to find people to hire:

Page 12: Ppt of linkedin process

In the search box type in PHP and hit search.

The results will display people who mentioned the word

PHP in their profile (note that people who are in your network show up first).

Refine the results by selecting or typing-in a location in the Location box. Now, you will only see people from that location.

To further refine the results, in the groups box choose a group such as “Job networking” (of course you will have to be a member of that group in order to see it). That way you will get back people who are searching for a Job.

If u want to access this u should upgrade

Sometimes, finding the right person on Linkedin is not enough.

The reason is that only paying users with premium account can send

messages to people outside their network

That is, if you are not already connected to someone, you can’t message him.

SOLUTION

Page 19: Ppt of linkedin process

Now, if it happens to you often, probably the best solution is to pay to upgrade your

account.

But if you don’t think it will pay off, here is a little built-in hack that can help you

overcome this limitation.
