Welcome to Bradley Stoke Wise Owls ClubBradley Stoke Wise Owls Club aims toprovide a unique service to the community.Rather than just providing childcare forparents who work, a wide range of activitieswill be on offer for the children to take partin after school and during the holidays.
There is an educational aspect to the clubtoo, where children will take part in themededucational activities and structured artsand crafts sessions.
Wise Owls has two sites; Wise Owls HolyTrinity and Wise Owls Baileys Court. Eachsite provides a spacious, stimulating andsecure environment with excellent facilities.All locations have access to indoor andoutdoor space. These purpose built spacesare ideal for the promotion of children’sdevelopment and learning out of school.There is a large amount of space bothindoors and out for the children to play andhave fun.
Each centre is easily accessible from themain road and ample car parking isavailable.
A pickup service from local schools isavailable after school from Monday toFriday.
As well as structured arts and craftsand themed activities there will be aselection of free choice activities.
Children will also be involved in thepreparation of their own healthy snack.
We have an excellent, high qualifiedand caring team of staff, including aqualified teacher and English andMaths tutor.

• Use Baileys Court park and playing fields and HolyTrinity school playground.

Arts and Crafts and Study SupportWise Owls promotes children’s development and learning out of school. Whilst at the club the children will be able to take part in themed educational activities and structured arts and crafts sessions. We endeavour to make each session as exciting and interesting as possible. Below is an example of one of our study support sessions and arts and craft activity.
Language Session: Spanish Number BingoThe children will be partnered up and older childrenwill be encouraged to help the younger ones withthe activity. The children will first be taught theSpanish numbers 1- 10 until they feel familiar withthem. In partners the children will work together tocomplete a bingo sheet, except the numbers will becalled in Spanish.
Art Activity: Chinese Lantern CraftThe children will first discuss what they know about Chinese New Year and will be given a brief introduction to the theme. Using coloured card, tissue paper and glue, the children will create a paper lantern that will help to teach them all about the topic.
Free PlayConstruction, Lego, dressing up, role play, puzzles,games, cars, pool table, table tennis, footballs etc.Use of the Holy Trinity, Jubilee and Baileys Park andplaying fields.
