Call Routing Summary
25
• Delegate sets call forwarding or simultaneous ringing
• Calls to the boss now will ring to the delegate endpoints & follow routing
• Ensures that a call routed to a delegate isn’t trapped in mobile voice mail.
• If the call gets answered too quickly (configurable at system level) call leg is dropped.
• Continues to support N:N boss-to-delegate relationships
• Set of PSTN usages associated on an incoming trunk to determine call route to an outgoing trunk.
• Provides better integration with additional scenarios to Lync qualified infrastructure.
• Existing route configuration concepts keeps configuration familiar for administrator.
• Media bypass in inter-trunk routing calls is supported.
• Includes appropriate trunk-level authorizations, CDRs, etc.

• Supporting multiple trunks between MS and a SIP Peer• A SIP Peer can be associated with multiple pools or the same pool with multiple unique
associations
• Better resilience for both service and on-premises scenarios
• Better interworking with IP-PBXs for bypass
• Using TLS & SRTP for multiple SIP trunks to the same SIP Peer FQDN
