Individual requirements …

Whether you’re in the business of generating power, operating a transmission or distribution network or simply using electricity, certain overall requirements always apply to energy automation. Of course, safety and cost efficiency are essential, but expandability and transparency are also playing an increasingly important role. Otherwise, how-ever, customization is the main prerequisite. Every network and every type of power has its own specific requirements, and every problem needs a matching solution. It’s good when your solution provider knows these differences.

Power generation companiesIn the wake of deregulation, you need to react quickly to market changes. You’re also interested in playing an active role in energy trading.

Transmission network operatorsMore than ever, you need detailed, sound information as solid foundation for your contract and bottleneck management, and for purchasing reactive energy and balancing power. As demand for energy increases, networks will be heavily loaded right up to the tech-nically feasible limit in everyday operation.

Distribution network operatorsYou’re responsible for quickly restoring the supply if necessary. To do so, you depend on detailed infor-mation and effective monitoring of your networks, even from mobile workplaces.

Companies in interconnected systemsYour target is optimization within the different areas of business as well as the reduction of procurement costs and maximum system capacity utilization.

Industrial companiesApart from securing more efficient power generation, your chief concern is to optimize your power con-sumption, a task which relies heavily on the recording, monitoring and controlling of energy purchases and peak loads.
