POWER TRANSFORMERS DIVISION History
200MVA – 220kv autotransformer in service from 1962
• 1949: Founded
• 1951: The first transformer, 750kVA 6/0.4kV.
• 1956 – 1960: Transformers up to 110kV.
• 1960 – 1965: Up to 200MVA 220kV . Enlarged workshop area.
• 1970-1975: Up to 440MVA 420kV. New workshop for large power transformers.
• 1987: 4 units of 440MVA Transformer for Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, the largest transformer delivered in Romania
• 2008: Privatized
• 2009: 440 MVA – exported to Greece
• 2010: 2 units 200MVA 220kV new design – Transelectrica
• 2011: 440MVA – Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant
• 2012: Mobile Substations 23MVA 30-66/11,5KV
