• During 2009 India suffered its worst drought since 1972, with rains 23% below average.

• For India's 235 million farmers, a bad monsoon spells financial

disaster.

• Food prices rocketed, parliament sessions were in full fury...

• 200,000 farmers have committed suicide in India since 1997 (National Records Bureau statistics)

I’ve intentionally omitted statistics detailing high prices or global scenarios per farmer suicides ‒

in order to focus on the -

I believe...

When we fondly remember someone or something, we either hearsome good news about the person or that something ‒

a connect happens...

Scripture affirms my this belief...

“The person, who takes a resolution and works towards his goal with firm conviction, always gets its fulfilled. ”

Rig Veda

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believeth.”

Mark 9:23

Let’s fondly remember the rains, rains in Pune...Rains in India, Rains the world over...

Rains where-ever we live as of now...

• During school-days (Pune) the water gushing down the Loyola Hill, from 4 poles down into the valley (can you hear the sound...)

• Sailing paper boats

• Walking in the rain

• Driving in the rains

Irrespective of where we are & what we believe…

Getting wet with loved ones...

Let’s ... Re-collect the smell of the first rains

• Let positive emotions flow with regard to rain... there would be times when we may recollect ‘floods’ or other mishaps - do not bother continue fondly remembering rains...

As -

Good over-comes Bad... ...Good Always overcomes bad

He covers the sky with clouds, he supplies the earth with rain,

and maketh the grass grow on the hills.

Psalms 147:8

So from June 1st 2010 to the arrival of the monsoon 2010,

lets remember rains like ‘lil children ‒ with genuine happiness, with child-

like faith & a strong belief that our thoughts & fond remembrance will cause Rains to shower...

Shower on every nook & corner on farm land, catchment's areas, streams, rivers..

Those who can visualize this please do so...

For scripture says...

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. -

Matthew 7:7
