Premium quality granules Spherical powder granules will always have highly uniform dimensions to ensure optimal and consistent flow and compacting properties. This is the main requirement from our customers regarding quality in Ready-To-Press powders. Sandvik ensures this.

Special/Standard products - Customized offersOur standard grade list covers an important range of cemented carbide applications. We are also able to deliver special grades per customer specifications. Since all businesses do not require the same quality or price levels, customized grades can either be based on virgin or part of recycled materials.

Powder testing and certificationEach batch of our mixed cemented carbide powder is carefully tested before delivery. With each lot of powder we provide a certificate, including:

Nominal chemical composition of the gradePowder properties: Hall flow/apparent densityPressing properties: pressure at a defined shrinkagePhysical properties after sintering: density, magnetic properties, hardness, porosity, etc.

RecyclingOne key service we also offer is recycling. By using state-of-the-art technology we are able to recycle all kinds of scraps such as powders, pressed parts, hard scraps and even grinding sludges.
