POUCH LINER PATTERN FOR JOEYS Material required must be 100% soft cottonBed sheets and flannelette.
MEASUREMENT GUIDE FOR POUCH LINERS
DIRECTIONS FOR SEWING (diagrams not to scale)
Pouch liners should be stitched by a sewing machine, however if you don’t have access to a sewing machine every stitching needs to be tight and precise.
1. Cut a pouch liner size from the Measurement Guide above.
2. To neaten top edge and prevent loose threads, fold top 0.5cm once, then fold again 0.5cm. Stitch as shown below.
4. Stitch a 0.5cm seam down the open side and base.
5. Turn inside out and iron flat.3. Fold fabric in half.
Note: for more experienced sewers, try a curved bottom edge.
6. Stitch down the same side and across the base (eliminating any internal loose threads).
