Web based Information System For KINPOE Examination Cell Muhammad Uzair Rasheed, KINPOE, 2015 The project is to build a web based information system for KINPOE examination cell, which can be used by KINPOE faculty and students of different programs for course registration, result submission and other tasks related to examination. Aalia Riaz The objective of this system is to provide a simple network based web interface to the faculty, students and the management’s officials to perform their examination related activities. This web based information system will provide the following facilities: Accounts for Student , Faculty and Administration Course Registration for students Result Submission from Faculty Automatic Result Compilation Automatic Preparation Of Result Cards Various examination related Information for faculty and students Network based digital database for present and past KINPOE trainees, fellows results for quick and easy retrieval Design relates to database design, A Database is the main place for the data storage of any software data management project. In this research SSMS is used as a database designer and manager. Before creation of any database requirement documentation is finalized indicating the major tables, users, and their relationships. User authentication is an integral aspect of any data management system. Use of the authentication services requires some preplanning by the system developer. In this project roles based authentication is used as here are different users each having their own data management limitations. Front End pages are designed in Visual Studio 2012 (MVC) . Server side coding is done using C#, and client side is done using HTML5, CSS, Jquery & Ajax. At the demonstration stage all the possible requests by the users were considered, and added to the Design. Different users like students, Admin, Faculty were considered during demonstration. In the Evaluation, prototype was evaluated by considering more users, programs and changing in the structure, these were added to the system and got to test. Theory End Knowledge Base Start 1. Communication Deploying Outcomes In this project a new web portal for the examination cell of KINPOE was designed having different facilities of result feeding, result compilation, result card generation and digital student database. The usage of this new system will facilitate the institute in digitalizing the current system. The application is developed without errors and ready to be published on internet using azure website. The project application completely facilitate the current running programs and with provision of adding new programs and semester details. All the details of changing the structure of the current programs and adding new programs with semester details are explained in the context.
