We are seeking a PhD scientist with qualifications in operational research (mathematical programming, stochastic programming, discrete event simulation) and highly skilled in computer science (algorithms and data structures, programming languages, optimization tools). The research topic will address modeling and solution techniques for solving advanced Scheduled Service Network Design problems with Revenue Management, for intermodal (container) transportation, integrating uncertainties (of demand, of travel time) as well as unavailability of resources. This research is also part of a collaboration between the LAMIH and the CIRRELT (Montréal, Canada), as per the International Associate Laboratory “Operational Research and Computer Science in Transportation, Mobility and Logistics” (LIA ROI-TML CNRS).
