International Exhibition and Business Forum

The principle objective of Aerodrome India 2010

was to provide a platform to bring together the

aviation industry to enable interaction between

manufacturers/service providers of all airport

and airline related services from around the

world with airport authorities, airlines &

associated industry professionals in India and

the South Asian region.

This platform was conceived to facilitate the

conversion of the enormous potential in the

Indian civil aviation sector into business.

As in the previous editions, Aerodrome India

2010 was steered by a specially constituted

National Advisory Council (NAC) consisting of

eminent aviation experts and authorities to

guide and lead this exclusive event. The NAC

was headed by Shri. V. P. Agrawal, Chairman,

Airports Authority of India, co-chaired by Dr. C.

G. Krishna Das Nair, Managing Director, Cochin

International Airport Ltd., President, SIATI

(Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies &

Industries) and consisted of the following

Having moved away from the concept of

standalone technical seminars, Aerodrome

India 2010 incorporated a Forum and

Business to Business (B2B) round table

model for the 2010 edition involving the

Regional Airport Authorities, the Policy

Makers and Airlines Heads. The forum was

organised by Airports International Indian

Edition magazine.

The forum included over 50 speakers (both

National & International) and more than 300

delegates participated, to address the overall

theme of the Forum “INDIA'S CIVIL AVIATION

ROADMAP- AN OVERVIEW OF THE DECADE

AHEAD”. The Forum and B2B round table

addressed subjects such as Airport

Airport Connectivity and Air Cargo.

On the third day, the 10 of April, for the first

The exhibition was held in Mumbai as it is the

business hub of India and therefore had a

specific purpose of ensuring a representative

visitor profile consisting of not just the decision

makers from the Ministry of Civil Aviation,
