1. Elaborate on the following statements : 8+4+8

Traditionally, physical distribution isconsidered as the other half of marketing.

Dedicated warehousing is the contributionof public and private warehousing services.

Describe the trend in growth of international sea 12+8borne trade, and analyse its distribution bycountry groups. Also explain as to why thedeveloping countries have not been able toincrease their shipping tonnage in carriage ofinternational cargo.

(b) Discuss the main clauses of voyage charterparty and time charter party.
