7th Annual American
Thank you to everyone who attended the 7th American Food Sure Summit
Watch the best bits from Chicago
Over 130 food & beverage professionals braved the plummeting temperatures and weathered an unexpected ice storm to attend the 2019 Summit – and for good cause! Attendees benefitted from the experience of top executives from the FBI, USDA, American Frozen Food Institute, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and many more. The panel discussion with Nestle, Northeastern
University, Land O’Lakes, and Hershey addressed concerns and gave the audience concise, actionable advice.
For example: Ajinomoto Foods North America walked us through effective food allergen management strategies. Barilla shared insights on how to promote a culture of safety and quality within your
organization. Applegate presented strategies on how to control foreign materials. And Bumble Bee Foods helped us prepare for the FSMA Intentional Adulteration Rule. Many more companies also shared their insights and expertise; have a look at the whole agenda here.
