Common Definition

What do you (students) think tardy means?

We as a faculty (the teachers) have all agreed that a tardy is when a student is not in their assigned seat when the bell rings.

Do you think this is unrealistic or unfair? If so, why?

So what kind of punishment could I expect from Administration?

• Saturday Community Service• Loss of Driving Privilege (remember Mr. Ellis

can send a letter to revoke your license. Ouch!)

What can you do?

Being on time is important to us at BCHS

What can you do to ensure that you are on time to school?

What can you do to ensure that you are on time to classes throughout the day?

Write a bit on the following and turn in to your homeroom teacher.

• What do you define as a tardy? • Do you think we have a responsibility (as

teachers) to enforce a tardy policy.• If you were da Boss, what would be your tardy

policy?• Regarding the video responses to tardies: Do

you think they were extreme. At what point do you think that BCHS would enforce such a policy?
