Objectives

of the Mission

The purpose of the mission is to strengthen the links between both

countries, promote economic relations between Portugal and the

Republic of South Africa, on the basis of mutual interest, and also

promote network between business persons.

The delegation incorporates 14 companies from different areas, such as IT, energy, manufacturing, services, pharmaceutical and food products.

Portugal and South Africa have a lot to benefit from increasing bilateral trade and investment. This trade mission is a good initiative that should be continued and complemented by other initiatives.

Has always worked in the IT sector on different companies: AUCHAN, ICL(International computers Limited), Fujitsu Services, (…), and has othercompanies, in IT, Real State and services.

Helder Alves

Born in 1956, has Portuguese and South African nationality. He is the SAlocal partner. Has several companies in industrial, real estate and ITareas.
