This house located in Vilar Torpim village offers a place of quality where guests can enjoy a peaceful cosy environment. The house has geothermal ecological heating, 10 fully equipped rooms (3 double rooms; 6 rooms for couples and 1 room for physically challenged persons), a game room with bar, a conference room, leisure and relaxing areas, as well as sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and an outdoor heated swimming pool. The house produces biological olive oil, and or-ganises bike tours in the region. The house was renovated by prestigious Portuguese architect Ricardo Matias.

Esta casa de Turismo Rural situada en la aldea Vilar Torpim pone a su disposición un espacio de calidad donde poder disfrutar de un ambiente tranquilo y acogedor. “Silvestre Fernandez Leiton commissioned this work in the year of 1616” is the phrase inscribed below the stone-carved coat of arms of the manor house Solar Dom Sil-vestre. It is located in the Historic Village of Castelo Novo, which in turn is nestled in the southern flank of the Gardunha Mountain. The house provides an atmosphere of tradi-tion, modern comfort and warm hospital-ity, and a harmonious and sophisticated decoration which combines traditional and contemporary styles. The house has three double bedrooms all with private bath-rooms, one suite, and a spacious one bed-room apartment, in addition to the dining room, living room, TV/library room, game or meeting room, and a small exercise room. The house is equipped with central heating/air conditioning and free wi-fi.

Details of a cosmopolitism that started by the end of the 19th century, with the inauguration of the “Theatro – Circo Saraiva de Carvalho”.The most important international opera companies and lyric performers have been here. The Theatro was then the biggest show room in Portugal and its elegant soi-rées were memorable! The beginning of the 20th century was very exciting in Figueira da Foz: cafés with orchestras, horse carriages in the streets, and the elegance of the ladies dresses, in the Casino! The concession of the Game Zone came in 1928 and the magic numbers began to roll!…In the evening, there is plenty of choices: restaurants, bars, discos and the Casino.The Casino, recently changed by the archi-tects Jorge Albuquerque, Câncio Martins and Winjand Plasier! The “glamour” is back!

Detalles de un cosmopolitismo que comenzó a finales del siglo XIX, con la inauguración del “Teatro – Circo Saraiva de Carvalho”. Por allí pasaron las mejo-res compañías extranjeras de opera y los nombres más importantes del espectáculo lírico internacional. ¡El Teatro era entonces la mayor sala de espectáculos de Portugal y sus elegantes noches eran memorables! Los primeros años del siglo XX fueron muy excitantes en Figueira da Foz: cafés con orquesta, carruajes de caballos en las calles, y la elegancia de los vestidos de las señoras en el Casino! La concesión de la Zona de Juego llegó en 1928 y los números mágicos comenzaron a rodar….La Noche está repleta de posibilidades:restaurantes, bares, discote-cas y el Casino.El Casino, recientemente remoderado por los arquitectos Jorge Albuquerque, Câncio Martins y Winjand Plasier! Santa Maria Manuela is a rare four masted gaff first launched in 1937. Built at Compa-nhia União Fabril in Lisbon, it began operat-ing in cod fishing and together with ship Creoula was part of the famous Portuguese White Fleet. It has 12 cabins for 2 guests, 5 cabins for 5 guests and 1 cabin for 6 guests.

Santa Maria Manuela es un raro buque de cuatro mástiles creado en 1937. Construido en la Companhia União Fabril en Lisboa, que comenzó a operar en la pesca de bacalao y, junto con la nave Creoula era parte de la famosa Flota Blanca portuguesa. Tiene 12 cabinas para 2 personas; 5 cabinas para 4 personas y 1 cabina para 6 personas.
